Timmy joined the River of Refuge staff in 2012. He graduated from LIFE Pacific College in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, was ordained in the Foursquare Church in 2005, and attained a Masters in Strategic Leadership from LIFE Pacific College in 2017. While attending school, Timmy started his professional career in retail at J.C. Penney and went onto a 12-year career in banking for Washington Mutual, World Savings, Wachovia Bank, and Wells Fargo holding positions such as Operations Supervisor, Branch Manager, and Business Banker. He left banking and was the former Operations Manager for Hilary Franklin, LLC, a local real estate investment company. Timmy has volunteered at the River of Refuge as project coordinator, events planner, grant writer, and tax credit specialist. Timmy currently serves as the Accounting Manager overseeing the finances of the nonprofit.

In addition to being employed with River of Refuge, Timmy has worked at River Church Family since 2011 in various leadership roles including the financial, management, and administrative aspects of the church. Currently he serves as Co-Lead Pastor with his wife, La'Tisha, since 2017.
