KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Local boutiques feature holiday items, home goods, clothes, personal wares and food as part of a fun and entertaining two-day fundraiser at Harrah’s Casino North Kansas City. The Northland Holiday Mart is Friday evening, Nov. 7 and all day and evening Sat. Nov. 8 benefitting River of Refuge, a local nonprofit that helps working poor families transition from pay-by-the-week motel into permanent homes.
Founded by Safe Place for Kids, the Northland Holiday Mart is in its sixth year and is a relaxing, shopping event for the community to enjoy featuring local boutiques, vendors, live music, food and drink. Some of the terrific boutiques include: Dillard’s, Pink Zebra, Touch of Homemade, Scentsy, Origami Owl, Thirty-One, Jamberry Nails, Silpada Designs and much more.
When: Friday, Nov. 7 (5 to 11 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 8 (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.)

Friday Night: “Girls Night Out.” Join us for a fun shopping experience, food and live music featuring Jimmie Bratcher. The first 100 shoppers will be entered a free raffle for a chance to win great prizes.
Saturday Night: Ladies Night! Music provided by local band Touch and Go.
